Job Title: Software Implementation Consultant Oil & Gas / Energy Software
The company specialises in the development of cuttingedge software and mobile apps for blue chip companies within the oil & gas and energy industries. With an exciting product roadmap and established sales pipeline, the company is well positioned for continued growth in global markets.
A varied and challenging role working across the business to ensure customer satisfaction. As part of the Customer Success Team, the candidate will become a product expert and be involved in delivering onsite customer training and implementation services as well as a variety of support activities to provide customers with maximum value from their product suite.
Product Training Carrying out training courses at the customer site
Consultancy Working with the customer to configure the software to meet business requirements Be a product / solution expert.
Follow up and ongoing customer support as required
Working with customers to get feedback and ideas to shape and contribute to the product roadmap
Product documentation and learning materials
Previous training experience in complex software systems in an engineering /technical environment
Previous experience within oil & gas / energy or process industries.
Experience of developing training and elearning materials
Excellent communication skills, both written and oral You must be able to articulate complex software procedures in a way that is understandable by both new and experienced users
Ability to quickly understand customer needs and formulate the best solution using their software
Patience and empathy for end users
Punctual and reliable
A team player who can follow and lead when required
Full driving licence valid in the UK
This is a customer facing role and will require frequent visits across their global customer base as required. The ideal candidate will have experience implementing complex software solutions in an engineering /technical environment. You must be customer focussed with good communication skills and comfortable dealing with people at all levels.
This role is based in the Aberdeen office and on customer sites (worldwide) as required.
Expected Salary Range: £32000 £40000 per annum
