Senior Systems IT Administrator Up to £35,000 depending on experience As Senior Systems IT Administrator you will ensure that maximum benefit and availability is made of company IT assets and assist the Systems Manager with support and maintenance of IT infrastructure. Duties: Provide relevant and timely support to staff with IT issues.Ensure that user data and systems are maintained in a manner that meets the business needs.Be able to diagnose and effect a repair on standard user workstations for hardware and software related issues.Build an understanding of the back of house and production systems.Assist in support and/or repair of back of house and production systems.Be able to diagnose and communicate issues relating to telecom infrastructure.Co-ordinate and manage third party site contractors when requested to do so by System Manager.Provide support for production equipment using remote connectivity and onsite attendance during non-core hours.To be responsible for your own Health and Safety and be aware of factors affecting your colleagues in order to maintain a safe environment. To report any accidents, potential hazards to your Line Manager immediately.Must be able to identify issues with user's workstation and resolve issues to get station back into normal operation. Skills: Must possess effective oral and written communication skills and be computer literate.Must be able to manage workload by establishing priorities; be detail-oriented; and possess the ability to operate successfully within a fast-paced environment.Should be able to adapt to change with little or no negative impact to productivity.Essential to be flexible.Must be comfortable working with Microsoft & MAC Operating systems and office packages. Qualifications (Experience, Education, Knowledge/Skills/Abilities): Experience: 1-2 Years information technology experienceEducation: A level equivalent required.
