Sanctuary Social Care is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated social worker to work full time within a MASH team based in Bury. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of social work practice in childrens services and be registered with the HCPC.
The pay rate for this locum social worker job is £25.02 per hour (LTD Company Equivalent) and is an initial 3month contract.
Responsibilities of the social worker:
Early identification and understanding of risk
Multi agency risk assessments
Timely efficient communication both on the phone and face to face
Accept and direct any contacts from any source, including, police, education, health, NSPCC and members of the public
Manage information sharing from all agencies and records on appropriate databases, analysing both historical and current concerns, to respond in a timely way adhering to timescales
Make informed threshold decisions
Ensures that an appropriate pathway is followed for ongoing intervention
Liaise with the early intervention services on behalf of children and families who may need enhanced or universal services, who do not meet the threshold for a statutory intervention
Requirements of the social worker:
Degree or equivalent in social work
Current HCPC registration
Significant senior level frontline experience within childrens services
Must have at least 3 years experience
