You will also be required to work in our centre in Kettering 1 day per week and to provide holiday cover for the small admin team there

They are now looking for an Administrator, to work as an integral part of their specialist team in Northamptonshire and support their orthotics service by providing the best customer service to their patients.
About the Administrator role:
This is an exciting opportunity for an Administrator to join a small admin team based in Northampton and provide outstanding admin support to a busy orthotics department.
The Administrator is often the first person our patients meet on arrival at the orthotics clinic so you will meet and greet a variety of patients, booking them in to the orthotic clinic, checking and updating their details and providing excellent general customer service to meet their needs.
Responsibilities of the Administrator:
You'll take responsibility for the smooth running of our clinics, ensuring that patient's appointments and the waiting list are managed and patient records are maintained, in accordance with set procedures, whilst ensuring that we maintain strict patient confidentiality.
As well as providing general administrative support, you'll also take responsibility for stock management of orthoses and equipment, including processing deliveries, monitoring, ordering and re-shelving stock, and writing orders for repeat and / or repair of orthoses.
You will also have the opportunity to get involved with:
- Preparing and closing clinic rooms for the orthotist before and after clinic
- Keeping patient clinic rooms fully stocked of equipment, leaflets and catalogues.
- Guiding patients into the clinic rooms and acting as a chaperone
- Assisting orthotists with manual handling support as required for patient positioning and casting, and using a hoist as required
Requirements of the Administrator:
Ideally, the successful candidate will have strong, general administrative experience, be well organised, have excellent attention to detail and be professional in their approach. They will be flexible and self-motivated, with a 'can do' attitude and excellent communication skills. Regular interaction with patients and colleagues throughout the Centre, including our team of Orthotists and Technicians, Consultants and other Healthcare professionals, means that good interpersonal skills, including a pleasant and confident telephone manner are important
