About the job
Are you an experienced Veterinary Nurse seeking a new challenge? Are you keen to study for your certificate in emergency and critical care? Or do you already have the qualification and are looking for a great opportunity to further your interests in this area?
Prospect Health is working with a superb hospital with a dedicated night service, which is seeking an additional member of the night nursing team.
The company has a great reputation for supporting their clinical staff through further study, and are keen to bring someone in to this position who either has an ECC certificate or is keen to study for one.Working alongside another nurse for the first part of the shift, to deal with inpatients and admissions, then with the vet surgeon through the night dealing with emergencies and inpatients.3 way rota averaging 44.3 hours per week - night shifts 6pm to 8:30am and weekend day shifts 8:15am to 6:15pm.
A superbly well-equipped RCVS accredited Tier-3 hospital with an experienced team of clinical and support staff.Competitive salary and a rota which provides good balance of rest-time to work-time.
Key Skills and Qualifications
Your primary interest should be emergency and critical care.As there is a considerable amount of sole-charge involved you will need to be experienced and confident in your abilities.Applicants must be Registered Veterinary Nurses and eligible to work in the UK to apply for this role.
