Team/Department Profile

The Digital Operations Manager will be a core part of the Zenith Worldwide Digital team working on Coty client team. You will work closely with the global account and planning teams to deliver best in class planning, activation, and local market execution.

About the role

The Digital Operations Manager is expected to be a key driver in in delivering best in class digital strategic, activation, and project managing operational solutions to clients that are rapidly transforming their business. You will be the day to day client lead for such projects and work closely with internal specialist teams to ensure delivery. You are also tasked with ensuring all client work is insightful, innovative, integrated, and effective.

We are looking for someone that is looking to work across multiple areas of expertise in digital operations, can manage multiple projects across different clients, and work closely with different teams to deliver best in class work. Experience in digital activation or operations is a must.


Key Responsibilities:

1.       Digital operations & ad-technology (Coty Central)

Work with the data & tech team to optimize ad-technology stack set up. For example, this can include integrating component parts of an ad-tech stack (e.g. Google Marketing Platform, adform), providing guidance on usage of ad-tech stack components (e.g. ad-server, DSP, search bid manager), and recommend use cases for GA360.
-Drive adoption of ad-verification partners to optimize media to key client objectives. 
-Develop and deploy ad-tech guidelines for local market adoption.
-Support digital director to develop client digital data strategy.
2.       Digital activation strategy & deployment (Coty Luxury)

Work with activation specialists to develop insights led global activation guidelines, best practices, for local activation.
-Deploy strategy to activation teams, local Zenith teams, and central client.
-Develop and deploy best practice client channel toolkits that provide guidance on how use digital channels to deliver global strategy.
-Generate insights and learnings for future strategic plans and channel optimization. The Digital Manager will be expected to analyse data from key data sources like GA, Google, Facebook, GWI, and other platforms and be expected to visualize data, generate insights/learnings, and present this back to relevant teams.
3.       Develop and maintain relationships

Build relationships and establish the smooth running of key stakeholder groups: the central clients, central Zenith account & planning teams, and central/local Zenith activation teams.
-Clear and timely communication with clients and other members of the team.
4.       Innovation

Identify relevant innovation (new or first to market) opportunities to test for Coty Luxury by developing and maintaining strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders (e.g. Zenith data sciences, 3rd party media owners, etc.).


Experience Required

Must have demonstrable technical knowledge and experience in at least two of the areas below:

Developing cross channel digital media strategies (e.g. search, programmatic, social, online video, etc.).
-Experience in multi-market strategy & activation in at least one biddable channel e.g. Facebook, Google Adwords, Amazon, etc.
-Experience in developing and/or executing a programmatic strategy (with experience in at least one DSP).
-Ad-operations experience (e.g. has trafficked a campaign, set up an ad-server account, or integrated DoubleClick platforms).
-Proven experience with web analytics platforms like Google Analytics or Adobe.
-Advanced knowledge of key global media owners e.g. Facebook, Google, Adform or Amazon.

Strong leadership, project management, and communication skills to be able to engage with multiple stakeholders to drive delivery of projects.
-Proven client management experience.
-Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment while ensuring high standard of work.
-Evidence of being solution driven and innovative with how they drive performance and delivery.

Desirable experience (but not required)

Multi-market experience.
-Previous category experience in beauty.
