Social Media Manager
You will be responsible for the University's strategic use of social media channels (existing and emerging), balancing creativity with training, guidance and corporate policy.
This position supports the delivery of an effective and flexible digital marketing and PR service to support the efficient operation of the Knowledge Foundation Directorate. Through their activities each individual contributes to a positive student experience, supporting students throughout their journey, from enquiry to alumni, providing a culture that engages students as genuine partners WITH Plymouth University.
With a need to deliver excellent customer service in all aspects of the role, you will have exceptional communication skills - both verbal and written.
You will be analytical and results orientated, with a working knowledge of digital communication and its impact on marketing and public relations, plus you will have an advanced working knowledge of digital communication methods and tools.
You must be educated in numeracy and literacy at secondary education level (or equivalent), with educational attainment at further education level (or demonstrable equivalent experience).
This is a part-time maternity cover position, working 15 hours (2 days) per week with Friday being one of those days.
