Were recruiting for a Registered Manager / Supported Living manager to oversee the provision community based supported living services for clients with Learning disabilities and Mental Health need in Surrey. This is a great time to join this organisation who are an established care provider of quality care services going through a phase of growth and development. On offer for the Registered Manager / Supported Living Manager is an attractive salary of £32,000£34,000 plus performance related bonus.
The Registered Manager Position
As the Supported Living Manager, youll be responsible for managing specialist care and support services for adults with learning disabilities or mental health needs, living either in their own homes, or have their own tenancy is a shared property. Youll oversee the provision of the care services ensuring that staff deliver a personalised, quality support service that enables each client to make their own choices.
The Supported Living Manager is responsible for
Ensuring the day to day manage and administration of the service, ensuring that it meets statutory regulations and company policies and procedures
Ensure that all services are delivered in a personcentred way using an outcomebased approach
The management and development of all staff, ensuring that staff have regular supervision and appraisals, training and development
Planning, promoting and developing the service they have a contract with the local authority and plenty of work available, so youll need to ensure that recruitment and induction training is ongoing in order to ensure you have enough suitably trained staff to take on new care packages. Its relatively new branch, though established and there is lots of room for growth in the Surrey area.
Monitor the quality of the service
Investigate any complaints, safeguarding issues or staff disciplinary needs
The Successful Candidate
Youll be an experienced manager of social care services, ideally having been registered with CQC before. Youll have worked in a role such as Registered manager, Supported Living Manager, Service Manager, Domiciliary Care Manager , Community Care Manager etc
Youll need experience of working with clients with Learning disabilities, Autism or mental health needs previously and be passionate about achieving the best outcomes for people
Youll demonstrate a good knowledge of CQC regulations
Youll be able to prioritise and work well under pressure
Youll be qualified to QCF 5, NVQ 4 or equivalent
