Helpdesk Engineer Wilmslow £23,000

Our client is a highly successful organisation, located in Wilmslow, Cheshire is looking to grow their wellestablished team.

They are looking to hire a Helpdesk Engineer, who will be the first point of contact for all customers. The successful candidate will have experience in a similar role, as well as having excellent problemsolving skills.

Having knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory will be extremely beneficial.

Responsibilities

  • Resolve any customer requests and incidents appropriately
  • Take on desk visits to all levels of colleagues, to ensure all desktops are looking properly
  • Install and activate authorised software where appropriate to client devices
  • Log all issues within the agreed work management system, making sure customers are informed through the whole process

Experience Required

  • Experience within a similar role
  • Past working in a Terminal Server or Citrix environment
  • Understanding and knowledge of Microsoft Windows 7 & 8, Microsoft Sever 2008 & 2012 R2
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Exchange 2010
  • Microsoft, Cisco or ITIL certifications
  • Apple Mac OS X An MCP, MCSA, MCITP or MCSE qualification would be beneficial to your application. Knowledge of DNS, DHCP, Virtualization, backup software, antivirus software would also be advantageous.
