About the job

6 week contract to start ASAP, with the possibility of extension. ?125 daily rate.

To work as an integral part of the Instructional Design and Development (IDD) Team in King?s Online to develop postgraduate programmes and MOOCS with faculties at King?s College London.

You will be working to design and develop high quality e-learning materials as part of an e-learning development team advising and implementing interactive solutions using appropriate software. You will apply your technical expertise to content design and development using a wide range of tools and within the Moodle VLE.

You will work in close collaboration with a group of instructional designers and multimedia producers to create online programmes. You will also work in collaboration with other internal King?s teams such as the Centre for Technology and Enhanced Learning and faculty TEL staff.

SkillsKnowledge and skills -
Able to produce high quality e-learning materials to support teaching, learning and assessment.
Ability to design web-interactions/user interface templates.
Sound knowledge of design patterns based on UX, usability and accessibility principles.
Advanced knowledge and skills of learning technologies (including a demonstrable ability to keep up to date with emerging design trends and technologies)
Advanced knowledge of bespoke development software, rapid development software (Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, Camtasia etc., Adapt Framework) as well as Adobe Creative Cloude Suite.
Solid knowledge of responsive web-design and basic knowledge of related technologies (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript).

Experience -
Experience of working with educational software and developing e-learning solutions and high quality teaching and learning resources.
Experience of designing, developing, running and evaluating training sessions related to e-learning.
Experience of designing ?responsive? web resources (based on HTML5 /CSS3/ ready for mobile).
Experience in prototyping e-learning and web products (wireframe product).
Experience of developing resources using rapid e-learning authoring software.
Experience of developing interactive videos (adding quiz, hotsposts, closed captions, etc.).
