Purpose of Role
This role exists at Acrylicize to lead in the implementation of the overall studio sales strategy and ensure the integrity of the Acrylicize client portfolio. The Sales Director works in partnership with the Managing Director, Creative Director and Marketing Manager in defining the sales strategy and communicating it to the rest of the management team. This role is essential to getting new business that suits our overall vision and mission and ensuring that new projects are integrated into the studio as efficiently as possible.
Main Responsibilities Lead in implementation of sales strategy and ensure that projects are the right fit Work closely with MD and CD on continuously adjusting sales strategy in line with current studio vision and mission Research the market, identify relevant leads, and chase possible connections Work closely with Marketing team to identify key areas to focus and suggest methods to reach the most appropriate audiences Manage and nurture relationships with current clients Understand the overall cost of designers in the studio and use this information to generate rough cost estimates for projects Work closely with the Lead Project Managers to understand resourcing pressures Create and update the 3-6 month project pipeline to ensure a steady income in partnership with the Lead Project Manager and MD Attend various key networking events within design industry and any relevant others Forecast for future sales and work closely with the Financial Controller to report on forecasts Introduce and implement tools and systems to support efficient sales processes Oversee internal programmes for events and networking opportunities Meet targets set by yourself in partnership with the MD Manage New Business Budget
