Salary: £25,000 to 28,000 /year DoE
Allowance: 20 Days + Statutory Holidays /year

Bennett Engineering Design Solutions is a highly respected engineering design company based in Loughborough. The projects vary considerably in their size and scope, spanning a variety of industries. Clients demand innovative, practical, cost-effective solutions that are defined as world class.
Experience & Qualifications:
We are looking for a creative Design Engineer with a hands-on approach with a minimum of 2 years’ experience. You must demonstrate the following:
Be educated to at least HNC level in Engineering.
Experience using SolidWorks to produce innovative and cost-effective designs.
Practical and theoretical knowledge designing fabrications and machined parts for special purpose machines.
Experience of specifying standard machines parts including bearings, pneumatics, motors, gearboxes and fasteners.
A full driving and own vehicle will be required.
Roles & Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will:
Generate detailed models and manufacturing drawings using SolidWorks accurately, in agreed timescales.
Conduct site surveys and liaise with clients
Create innovative & practical designs.
Communicate concepts and ideas both verbally and visually.
Support the profitability and long-term goals of the business.
Good knowledge of CAD systems a & Best practices.
Collaborate with the team and clients to exceed expectations.

General Working Hours: Mon to Fri 9am to 5pm, however slight flexibility is available.
1st Stage: 30 to 45min in person formal interview
2nd Stage: 3 hours “Day in the Life of”.
Half day experience, morning or afternoon
Experience working with the team first hand.
