SENIOR PAYROLL ADMINISTRATORGael Force Group, trusted manufacturer and supplier of equipment, technology and services to aquaculture, commercial fishing and leisure marine markets, is actively looking to recruit a Senior Payroll Administrator to join our Group Finance team, based in our Inverness Head Office.For this role thesuccessful candidate will be responsible for our payroll functions and willwork to ensure that our payroll, expenses and taxes are paid correctly and ontime. An important part of thisrole is to input, process and liaise with other employees within the Group.
Ourideal candidate is analytical and methodical, with experience in payrolladministration and deep knowledge of payroll regulations. We value integrity, team spirit and strongorganizational skills. Your goal will beto ensure our payroll procedures are compliant, efficient and current.PrincipleDuties and Responsibilities Collate information on hours worked for each employee Receive approvals for payments when required Process taxes and payment of employee benefits Create payroll policies and procedures Check and audit payrolls to ensure regulations are met Process absences Calculate overtime, pay increases Legislation Maintain employee confidence and protects payroll operations by keeping information confidential. Maintain accurate records Resolve issues and answer payroll related queries Reconciliation to financial ledger Maintains professional and technical knowledge by reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, participating in professional societies. Provide support to HREssentialRequirements Extensive payroll processing experience Knowledge of PAYE and Auto enrolment legislation Must haveexperience with processing a payroll from start to finishPayroll related benefits administration which includes BACS, HMRC and Pension reconciliationsProven customer service skills while maintaining a confidential work environmentProficientin Excel, Word and OutlookHave knowledge and experience of using computer-based payroll packages - SAGE payroll / GreentreeBe highlynumerate and able to work to a high degree of accuracyGood communication skills (written and oral) with a strong customer focusA committedteam player, detail oriented and an effective communicatorAbility toeffectively communicate information to employees and managementEnthusiasmfor identifying and pursuing process improvementsGoodorganisational skills and ability to work to deadlines DesirableExperience with HR softwareIn return for working up to 30 hours a week, Gael Force offers a competitive salary, staff discount and a contributory pension scheme. The salary offered is between £22,000 and £24,000 and will reflect the experience and knowledge that the candidate can bring to this excellent opportunity.
