Reference: A4580Description: Come and join the occupational therapy team at Plymouth University in an exciting role that celebrate our success and expansion. We work on a range of educational programmes and research initiatives. We value a strong focus on occupation, progressive teaching, learning and scholarly approaches and a commitment to inter-professional working.
You will be registered with the Health and Care Professions Council and want to be involved in teaching and scholarly activity, across a range of programmes and modules. You will be an experienced occupational therapist with a commitment to quality occupational therapy education and research, wanting to work as part of an experienced and dedicated academic team. Experience of an educational role in either a HEI or practice setting and wish to engage in a range of academic activities is required.
You will value your own professional development, may hold or be working towards a higher degree qualification and may have a publication profile. Applications will be especially welcome from candidates with experience in learning disability practice or social care, those with an interest in enquiry or problem based learning approaches and those wishing to develop their academic profile and teaching skills.
These positions are fixed term for 6 months, hours are part time up to a maximum of 22.2 hours per week (0.6 FTE) and will be determined through discussion with the successful candidates, starting early 2016. These part-time positions could be set up as secondments with a current employer if required.
