About the job
Position Description:Support activities and processes associated with control and maintenance of records in the records room. These include receipt, logging, filing, imaging, maintenance, inventory and archival of records.Provide assistance to internal and external customers in an efficient and timely manner.Respond promptly and efficiently to requests for audits. Activities may include, but are not limited to, retrieving, imaging records, logging out borrowed records, following up to retrieve borrowed records and troubleshooting record requests.Preparation of device history files for off-site storage. This includes creating inventories, packing into boxes, ensuring the files are in good order for long-term archival. This task requires computer work but is more active and requires pulling files/ books from the high density space saver and packing items into boxes.Preparation and imaging of electronic DHRs (device history records) that are retained in the records room. This activity is fully performed at a sitting workstation.
