About the job
We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Administrator to join a well established company based in Liverpool City Centre. We are currently looking for an experienced Administrator to go above and beyond for Customers and support a busy Export Department.
Duties and responsibilities
Monitoring a busy inbox assigning emails to the correct department
Deliver excellent customer service via email and telephone
Liaising with the transport, sales and accounts departments daily maintaining strong relationships
Keeping customers up to date regarding bookings and providing the correct documentation
Running workflow reports using Excel
Liaising with Head Office and the port department regarding and resolving all issues
Gaining excellent knowledge of services and maritime regulations
Keeping Senior Management informed of progression and issues of shipments
Skills and experience
Professional telephone manner
The ability to work towards strict targets
Extensive Administration experience Logistics background is desirable but not essential
Excellent attention to detail with the ability to remain calm under pressure
Exceptional communication skills
