Part time: Monday, Wednesday & Friday
Duration: Est. until January 2##### ######You will be required to provide administrative support to the Head of Finance through the day to day operation of the companies finance system and processes.
To be considered for this role you must be familiar with the Finance System: Sage 50 professional & Agilebase database
Key areas of responsibility:
To provide administrative support to the Head of Finance, including:
Ensuring all sales/membership invoices (via departments) generated by external database and data transferred to Sage 50. Finance department responsible for occasional recharging and royalty invoices.
Ensuring all incoming receipts (including occasional cheques) are processed on time and accurately recorded.
Entering all accounting transactions onto Excel
Dealing with enquiries in relation to accounting matters/invoices from members/external customers
Assisting with overflow telephone enquires
Liaising with membership to confirm outstanding payments
Maintain effective working relationships with members, colleagues and others, adopting the principle of treating everyone fairly and equally, irrespective of their age, disability, ethnic origin, gender, marital status, race, religion, belief or sexuality.
Act in accordance with the responsibilities set out in Health & Safety at Work Act 1974 and other relevant employment legislation as detailed in the Staff Handbook.
Perform all duties with due adherence to company policies and procedures.
Undertake any other duties as required by the companies Leadership Team and agreed with the Chief Executive.
This role is important for the company in the provision of services to members and as such the role-holder will be expected to work flexibly in discharging the key areas of responsibility for this role and in working across the organisation to support others in delivering the organisation’s primary aims and objectives.
