The London School of Film, Media and Design's vision is to be nationally and internationally recognised as a vibrant hub of creative learning, which will produce graduates who are 'Connected Creatives' - distinguished not only by their intellectual capabilities, but also by their enterprising qualities, employability and skills, and their aptitude and ambition to contribute to the creative lives of their communities.
In preparation for the launch of the School we wish to appoint a Media Resources Co-ordinator to provide and develop services for the Media Resources Centre users, including students, academic staff, and external customers, and to advise and assist in the use of the facilities within the School. A substantive part of this role involves lifting technical equipment, and you will need to be able to physically carry out these duties.
You must be supportive of the vision for the London School of Film, Media and Design, and able to work as part of a team to enable the effective operation and delivery of technical support and services across the School. You will need to be self-motivated, possess excellent communication skills and will have a creative approach to problem solving within the University's environments. You must have a relevant degree or equivalent qualification, or significant industrial experience, and have experience of working with video, photographic, sound and recording, and digital projection equipment. You will have experience of providing an effective service in a customer focused environment.
Please be advised that it is expected that appointment within a grade will normally be at the minimum point.
