A new opportunity has arisen for an Ocean Import
Coordinator to work at our clients premises based in Chelmsford.
The main purpose of the Ocean Import Coordinator role is to
manage all aspects and oversee the Import process.
You will be working on the Ocean Import team and work
closely with other team members along with customers, clients and agents and be
responsible for liaising between customers, suppliers and transport companies
to ensure efficient deliveries.
Duties will include:
Liaise between suppliers, forwarders and agents to obtain up
to date shipment information and make sure customers are fully informed of the
progress of their Import shipments.
Update and maintain all files to ensure that all relevant
documentation is correct and in place and that the file is costed and billed
Liaise with transport companies and provide correct
information for the customer’s delivery.
You must be prepared to help out other team members when
needed including working in the export department in busy periods.
You will need to have previous experience of Ocean Import
shipments for this role, along with good customer service skills.
