Coventry University Students' Union have an exciting career opportunity for an experienced academic to coordinate and implement a range of activities and initiatives, whilst ensuring that modules are delivered to excellent teaching standards. You will be leading on modules, managing Employability Services teaching staff and develop working relationships with partner organisations.
You will have a passion for module development and be able to demonstrate innovative approaches to teaching using a wide range of learning resources. You will provide guidance and support to Coventry University students to develop and improve their employability skills. You will set, mark and moderate coursework, assignments and examinations. You will be able to reflect on teaching practices, implement improvements, share good practice and support the Employability Services Manager.
It is essential that you have significant teaching experience, with high achievement rates and the ability to act as a course tutor. You should have experience of teaching learners from a wide range of diverse and ethnic backgrounds. You will also have the ability to maintain administrative systems, including the use of online learning systems.
You will hold Level 2 qualifications in English and Maths (e.g. GCSE) together with a degree and a recognised teaching qualification e.g. PGCE or DET. T
This post is permanent working full-time 37.5 hours per week. A flexible approach to working hours is required.
