Vision for Education is recruiting for a full time Teaching Assistant - SEMH/Behaioural Support to join our successful supply teaching support team for a local SEMH setting in Tameside
This will be a full time 1:1 role working with KS2-3 students. This is a specialist setting catering for students who show signs of additional Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs.
In this setting we are looking for a committed and motivational individual. A Nurture approach is often used within this school.
As a Teaching Assistant - SEMH/Behavioural Support you will play an important role in helping to create structure and a positive experience in the students' academic learning.
The daily rate for this role will be between £62 - £75 (per day) dependent on experience. The successful Teaching Assistant - SEMH/Behavioir Support will have excellent knowledge of working with young learners in similar settings, and ideally will have worked with young people who may present challenging behaviour. The desired support worker will be Team Teach trained however this is not essential as Vision offer regular CPD training free of charge.
