The Company is currently looking for a hardworking and enthusiastic Kitchen Porter to join their kitchen team at their award-winning restaurant. The position is permanent and is in South Devon.
Key Features of the Role:
As a Kitchen Porter you will be responsible for all kitchen duties, i.e. washing plates, cutlery and other kitchen utensils, maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen including appliances, vegetable prep, unload food and equipment deliveries, keep the storeroom organised, wash up and ensure that after service the kitchen is left spotless in readiness for the next day.

From here you will learn and develop skills and knowledge so that you can progress up the career ladder, as the Hotel is going through a period of expansion and growth and is looking for the right dedicated people to be a part of that expansion and career path.
Knowledge and Skills:
As a Kitchen Porter you will ideally have similar experience working in a busy kitchen, but this is not essential as the Company can provide all necessary training.
Own transport is essential due to rural location and long hours.
You should possess ambition to continually push yourself to move up to the next career level.

What's on Offer?
A Kitchen Porter basic salary is up to £19,000 plus Tronc. A live-in option is available subject to a personal contribution towards the rent.
Working 4 days on 3 days off
Holiday entitlement is 20 days plus all bank and public holidays, rising by 1 day each year for 5 years.
