  • Location: Garden Court, Coventry

  • Salary: £23,853 £26,504 per annum

  • Hours: 36.25 hours per week

  • Contract: 14 months, Maternity Cover

Orbit are one of the UKs leading Housing Providers and are looking for an Income Team Leader to join our Transactional Services team based in Coventry.
  • This exciting role will see you provide support and guidance for the Rents and Sales Ledger Transactional team. The Rents team look after over 40,000 accounts that is made of rent allocations, housing benefit and universal credit queries. Also managing a small sales ledger team, overseeing the raising of invoices, customer account and dealing with queries.
  • This is a key role where you will lead a team of 3 Income Officers to ensure that an excellent process and payment service is provided for Orbit Customers. This role will also be responsible for successfully developing performance measures for the team and to monitor individual outputs by conducting regular 121s.
  • We are looking for a highly organised and focussed individual with a proven track record in finance. This role requires a self starter who can successfully teach and lead team members effectively. To be successful you will need to proficient in Excel and with an understanding of debits, credits and reconciliations.
  • It would be an advantage if you have previous experience managing staff.
