THE COMPANY: A rare opportunity to join this market leading medical devices manufacturer in a brand new, expansive senior sales position. This division specialises in a range of sports medicine and orthopaedic devices, equipment and instruments, specifically for shoulder, hip and knee surgery. Continued growth and expansion means that they are currently seeking to recruit a high calibre and suitably experienced medical sales professional to help drive their business forwards in the Midlands area.
THE ROLE: As Commercial Manager the successful candidate will be looking to secure lucrative contracts and framework agreements to strengthen and protect regional sales in this division. Day to day contact will be with senior stakeholders in procurement, theatres in the NHS and private hospitals as well as liaising internally with the wider regional sales team. With responsibility for delivering and winning tenders and facilitating the future account management of tenders won, you must be comfortable with high level cost discussions as well as having an indepth knowledge of NHS procurement processes. As the successful candidate you will preferably be of graduate calibre and have a proven track record in territory sales within orthopaedics or another surgical arena. In addition to this it is desirable, that you have had either regional management, market access or commercial management experience within a healthcare business. Full product training will be provided and attractive bonus schemes and career paths offer exceptional individuals a fantastic opportunity.
The Package for Commercial Manager:
Basic: £65,000 to £70,000
Bonus / OTE: £20,000 to £25,000
Car: Fully expensed executive car
