Reference: A4551Description: External Relations is a dynamic and creative Directorate which is responsible for the University's internal and external engagement and communications, encompassing the Development Office, Integrated Marketing, Media and Communications and Recruitment and Admissions.
The Campaign team within the Development Office requires an experienced creative and proactive Officer to join them in delivering the marketing and communication project plans for stakeholder engagement with the University's strategic fundraising Campaign.
Under the direction of the Campaign Development Manager, the Campaign Officer will contribute to, and lead the successful delivery of multiple co-ordinated marketing and communication plans for allocated projects within the University Campaign portfolio. Within this fast-paced and energetic environment the successful candidate will provide a customer focused, cost effective and efficient external relations service.
Contributing to project marketing planningRelationship managementLeading on and executing the delivery of agreed project marketing and communication plans to deadlines and within budgetCopy writing and proof readingDesign and print: commissioning, administration Digital communications: Web, social media and e-commsLiaison with internal and external stakeholders, partners and suppliers
Essential skills, knowledge & experience the successful candidate should be able to demonstrate include:- Experience of working in a busy marketing environmentGood knowledge of Microsoft packages: word, excel and outlook Excellent communication skills both written and verbal Excellent organisational skillsAccuracy and attention to detailSolutions orientedDriven by creativity and adding valueExperience of working to strict deadlinesAbility to prioritise own workload and manage multiple priorities*Degree or professional qualification in marketing would be desirable

This is a full-time post working 37 hours per week on a permanent basis.
