We have an unmissable Marketing maternity cover opportunity working across some of the biggest brands and authors in adult publishing!
A leading trade publisher based in London is looking to appoint a Head of Marketing to work across one of their highprofile and commercial fiction and nonfiction imprints on an initial maternity cover contract. This is an integral and senior role within the department and you will have responsibility for marketing activities across the list. The position involves developing and implementing integrated marketing campaigns to build and strengthen key author brands and drive profitable sales of the divisions books. The role covers new and backlist titles and encompasses both businesstobusiness and businesstoconsumer marketing. Key responsibilities include: creating highly effective and original acquisition pitches, developing commercially creative consumer campaigns using the whole marketing mix, establishing and evolving key author brands, effective analysis of results and working within agreed timelines and budgets.
The successful candidate will have significant consumer marketing experience, proven experience of managing large marketing budgets and will be experienced motivating and leading a team. You will be passionate and creative, an ideasperson with good copy writing and communication skills and very enthusiastic about working with media and books.
