Working on behalf of another leading EPAO, Protocol are looking for high level experts in their field of work within the Adult Care field, with an assessors qualification such as CAVA or A1, to assess apprentices on this Level 2 qualification.
Adult Care Workers are the frontline staff who help adults with care and support needs to achieve their personal goals and live as independently and safely as possible, enabling them to have control and choice in their lives.
Independent Assessment ensures apprentices have the Knowledge, Skills and Behaviours detailed in the Standard, which outlines the Core Competencies of the role. Endpoint Assessors will undertake the final assessment of the learners, using different methods to check that apprentices meet these requirements. They will usually travel to apprentices workplaces to complete observations and professional discussions and will spend between a few hours and a full day with each learner.
This End Point Assessor role is a full time permanent position offering fantastic benefits, and will involve travel across London.
In a nutshell
We are looking for a passionate individual to join our client as an End Point Assessor, working in partnership with employers and their training organisations, to carry out high quality assessments of an apprentices competence against their apprenticeship standard.
Working in the field and supported by our expert, professional team, youll work with Apprentices and their employers to plan and conduct End Point Assessments Agreeing a schedule and completing planned assessments in the learners work place
Providing technically competent judgement and decisionmaking against the recognised assessment plan and complete a range of IT and paper based resources and report documents.
Grade assessments in accordance with the assessment plan and internal standardised matrices and provide feedback where required.
Ensuring all documentation and decisions are fully compliant and meet all regulatory and internal standards, Complete the endpoint assessment process by confirming grades and pass/fail judgements on a range of workbased evidence.
Carrying out all associated administration and keeping your knowledge of the occupational area up to date, along with maintaining your Continuous Professional Development.
Current, hands on, professional experience in the Adult Care sector
Qualification to at least Level 2
An Assessor qualification
An IQA qualification
Your knowledge will match the standard you are assessing and as an experienced, qualified Assessor, youll know how to conduct assessment processes including observations, professional discussions and reviewing learners showcase of evidence. If you also have good IT (MS Office), time management and communication skills, well give you full training on our systems and support your Continuous Professional Development.
