Recently graded Outstanding, the school is growing with a fantastic set of 2018 exam results meaning the school has a well above average Progress 8 score and an Attainment 8 score which is higher than the local authority average and the average for England.
This West London school has easy local transport links with Syon Lane Station being a very short walk from the school, and the M4 being a short drive away. The nearest tube station is Hounslow East Station reached by the Piccadilly line.
Staff have the ability to work in other schools across the multiacademy trust including the boys schools so this role does not limit teaching to just females. About the role Head of Physics Hounslow, West London
This Head of Physics roles requires a Physics teacher to teach Physics from Key Stage 3 to 5 within a large and supportive Faculty of Science who had performed highly with exam results in 2018.
The ideal Head of Physics will have a history of achieving excellent results, will be someone who can develop the rest of the Physics Department, and lead by example.
The successful candidate must be an experienced practitioner and passionate about Physics, so students are inspired to succeed and learn in the classroom. The school will not accept applications from NQTs. The school has a high percentage of students where English is not the first language, so the Head of Physics needs to be able to teach students with a range of needs and ability.
