About the job
This is a unique opportunity for the Birmingham market, currently seeking an Account Handler for a bordereaux based role, handling 3
rd party binders. You will work as part of a small dynamic team in a fast paced environment with lots of development opportunities and to gain London market experience. As this role is heavily London insurance market focused, whilst you will be based from the Birmingham office, the role will involve travel to London. The team are open to new ideas and ways of working and therefore you have an opportunity to shape the working environment.
Liaising with internal and external customers.
Distribution of written bordereaux.
Oversight of settled bordereaux processing.
Monitor cash allocation and cash flow.
Assist in query resolution and reconciliation.
Internal and external MI reporting.
Client presentation pack creation for London brokers.
Attend client meetings where required.
Enjoy working in a high volume fast paced environment.
Previous experience within insurance.
London market or bordereaux experience is not essential but helpful.
Strong attention to detail and be good with numbers.
Proficient in Excel and producing MI reports.
Problem solving skills.
Willing to bring new ideas to the team.
