This is an exciting opportunity for the right candidate to join their growing business development team and be a part of their expanding energy management consultancy.
They are looking for selfmotivated and proactive sales professionals to fill this role and to help drive the business forward.
As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for generating new business, by developing and nurturing longterm, mutually beneficial relationships with medium to large sized businesses and you will be provided with all the necessary sales support by their administration team to do this.
Duties will include
Setting, meeting and exceeding sales targets and KPIs
This is not a telesales role and no cold calling involved. you will generate sales leads, both by using social media/online research/LinkedIn and by tapping into your network of contacts.
Identifying opportunities to cross/up sell additional products and services into a growing customer base.
Planning and preparing sales presentations using prebranded MS PowerPoint templates.
Providing the Sales Director with weekly progress and pipeline reports.
Updating the CRM system to maintain and manage your prospects.
Proven sales background and experience
Verbal and written communication skills
Ability to rapidly establish relationships with prospects and suppliers
The ability to work both as an individual and in a team environment
Time management, organisation and prioritisation skills
Presentation and negotiation skills
Proficiency in MS Office suite, including Excel and PowerPoint skills
Basic £24,000 £33,000 pa (dependent on experience)

37.5 hours per week (flexible working hours available)
Annual Holidays: 28 days including bank holidays + additional days between Christmas and New Year
Regular team outings (from bowling to shopping France)
