We’re looking for an experienced Full Stack Developer to join our growing start-up based in Knutsford, Cheshire.

Zoek is an intelligent new job board, that uses machine-learning technology across both our website and apps to match and connect job seekers to hirers and vice versa.

Working as part of the Zoek Development Team maintaining as well as designing and developing a suite of tools for the public UK job market, as well as client and administrative tools, all with a wide variety of technologies and OS’s should be comfortable working with Windows, Linux & Mac OS environments. As a Full Stack developer responsible for delivering as part of an agile team software development solutions, with focus on the delivery of customer-centric, scalable and maintainable solutions on time.

Must be very hands on and be able to work to a high-level and fast-pace. Must possess strong full-stack experience of the Microsoft .NET stack (a heavy focus on Rest API), Javascript Frameworks (ideally Node.Js & Express) and going forward, Docker based solutions with PHP. Also should be open to potentially open source solutions.

Must demonstrate a passion for best practices, coding standards, for new technologies and methodologies, but also be a technology agnostic and comfortable at times in a non-technical setting.

The role will have regular interactions with people outside of the IT, and as such excellent communication skills, both written and spoken are required.
