About the job
Do you have experience of mental health social work? Are you looking to work with a busy but supportive team with genuine progression routes?
We are currently recruiting for a busy Community Mental Health Team, the team is a supportive and motivated team with a strong commitment to learning and practice development. You will be given regular professional and specialist supervision. This contract is initially for 3 months, after 3 months the contract is likely to be extended (permanent opportunities may also be available).

The successful candidate will:
Be a skilled and reflective social work practitioner with demonstrable experience of working with severe mental illness in a community setting. Ideally someone with previous knowledge and experience of working within a local authority or the NHS.
Care coordinate a caseload of service users with complex needs; assess new referrals including safeguarding and vulnerable adult referrals; and actively contribute to a multidisciplinary approach to the management of the health and social care needs of the users of our service.
Be familiar with the CPA process and report writing for Mental Health Review Tribunals.
In order to be considered for this role, you must:
Good knowledge of the CPA process and report writing for Mental Health Review Tribunals
Experience with Social Care needs plans and commissioning care packages
Access to your own vehicle
Have previous experience in a adults Social Work setting
A Degree/Diploma in Social work
HCPC registration & valid DBS
