About the job

First Personnel have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Team leader with one of our biggest clients.

Our client, who are based in Tamworth are looking for an Admin Team Leader on a permanent basis, this is an exciting opportunity for someone who has a strong logistics background or someone who is looking for a change in carer.

Your role as an the Admin Team Leader will involve -

  • You must ensure the customers operational requirements are met at order level to ensure deliveries are delivered
  • You will be the first line support for all customers to ensure that all issues are proactively handled to reduce liability and eliminate service falls
  • You must be a leading player within the administration team supporting colleagues within all departments in proving an enhanced service to customers whilst maintaining and promoting the companies best practice
  • You will need to make sure the operation in managed efficiently in line with both internal and external KPI's
  • You will drive service improvements by promoting, supporting and implementing the sites continuous improvement programs
  • Managing your team, setting unambiguous, achievable and sustainable daily objectives for individual staff
  • Complete ongoing reviews with individuals and manage their progress against KPI's and objectives
  • Coach and develop your team to ensure they meet their full potential

Key skills and qualifications for the role -

  • 4 GCSE's or equivalent
  • 2 year of customer service experience
  • 1 year of team leader experience
  • Over 2 years' experience within a fast paced warehouse environment
  • Knowledge of warehouse management systems (red Prairie)
  • Good team player
  • Excellent Microsoft office skills
  • Excellent communication skills, ability to communicate to all levels including customers
  • Highly organisational skills, ability to plan and manage work local

The ideal candidate will have the following, however these are not essential -

  • Full driving licence
  • Cargo Link SAP experience
  • Knowledge of warehouse operations
