We are looking to recruit an experienced HR Officer to provide support as required to the HR Team to ensure the client fulfils its obligations under employment, health and safety and compliance legislation. The role is based in StokeonTrent and commutable from areas such as Stafford, Cheshire, Uttoxeter, and Market Drayton.

Job Description:

To provide generalist HR support to the business where necessary on disciplinary, grievance, sickness absence, maternity leave and performance management matters.
Review performance / attendance improvement plans.
Ensure PDRs and relevant reviews are taking place in line with Company Policy.
Represent HR at operational meetings.
To undertake project work and policy development work as directed and guided by the HRM.
To research and keep abreast of developments in employment legislation and case law and be proactive in ensuring that the team are briefed appropriately.
To actively promote culture.
Provide support where required on recruitment activity.
Support HRM in regard to H and S.
Manage the HR email inbox.

Candidate Requirements:

Qualified or working towards CIPD and will be able to demonstrate the ability to work with minimal supervision on a variety of HR generalist topics.
You will be a strong communicator (written and verbal) with excellent interpersonal skills and be able to demonstrate your ability to forge strong working relationships with employees and managers in the business.
The role requires you to work efficiently with strong attention to detail and with confidentiality and integrity at the forefront at all times.
You will have excellent IT skills with working knowledge of MS Office.

This is a great opportunity for a competent HR Practitioner who enjoys working in a fast paced and commercially minded business. You will be expected to travel as part of the role.

This role would suit people who also have the following experience: Hr Advisor, HR Officer, HR Executive. Personnel Advisor, People Officer.

Hours:
37.5 hours Monday to Friday

Salary: up to £25,000 per annum
