Ready for the recognition and rewards you deserve?
We don't just talk about putting employees first. We know that Priory wouldn't exist without their combined energy, expertise and effort. So we invest heavily in training, provide first-class support, promote collaborative teamwork and give everyone on our team the opportunities and resources to achieve their full potential.

The Cloisters is a 24 bedded open rehabilitation unit, set within a peaceful environment on the edge of Newbury. The unit offers in-patient rehabilitation services to service users who require longer hospital stays than provided in an acute ward, to develop independent living skills prior to moving into community based accommodation.

We are currently looking to recruit Healthcare Assistants to work 37.5 hours per week, including days, nights, weekends and bank holidays.

We are looking to recruit personable, flexible and motivated individuals to assist our qualified staff with the delivery of care to our patients.

You will be involved in the personal care and meeting the psychological needs of a group of patients with varying degrees of mental and physical issues. You will be caring and attentive with the skills to build strong and trusting relationships with people. It is also important that you work well in a team as you will work alongside qualified nurses and staff from other professions.

You will need to have experience in a caring role but not necessarily in the mental health as full training will be given.

As an employee at The Cloisters you will enjoy one free meal per day whilst on duty, equivalent of 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays, birthday leave and contributory pension scheme. Priory also have a complrehensive package of additional benefits. Continuous Professional Development opportunities are offered through our comprehensive induction programme, computerised training programme and on-going access to supervision. You will also have access to occupational health services. We have an excellent team and offer a very good working environment with an ever evolving service where ideas and innovation are welcome and are integral to the development of the service.

For an informal discussion, please contact Sipho Sengwayo, Director of Clinical Services on 01635 277230.

Closing date for applications is 28 February 2019.

Please note that we reserve the right to close the advert earlier if a good number of suitable applications are received before the closing date.
