We want you! DMC Healthcare Group is a leading provider of Primary Care and Community based, Consultant-led outpatient clinics for NHS patients across the United Kingdom. At DMC, we strongly believe in working together to deliver healthier outcomes for our patients, and our own teams.
DMC Healthcare is looking to appoint a full-time, and part-time sessional consultant dermatologist to work within our community dermatology service. The role will involve the practical treatment of NHS patients of intermediate care, who have been referred by their GP across the Lincolnshire and other area's.
Candidates with MRCP, or a recognised equivalent by the Royal College of Physicians, if appointed, would be helped to gain full dermatology consultant status, recognised by the British Association of Dermatologists.
The post holder would work in at least two locations and be fully supported by DMC’s administrative and nursing teams. The successful candidate will be mentored by DMC’s Dermatology Clinical Lead, Dr. Tony Downs FRCP. Surgical experience is desirable but not essential. Supervision of one or more non-consultant grade clinical assistants would be expected, as well as participation in Continuing Professional Development, annual GMC appraisal, and accreditation and clinical governance activities.
DMC is a rapidly growing, progressive and established healthcare provider with around 250 employees, and 8 dermatologists across NHS England. DMC also provides various other employee benefits such as paid holiday, a pension scheme and also funds indemnity insurance and full GMC registration costs.
