Channel Manager, Midlands & South West
Resolve Recruitment are working with a global solutions provider of ICTY, mobile workflow and communications systems. Due to continued expansion within their UK presence, they seek an experienced Channel Manager to sell their leading solutions to distributors and IT providers across the Midlands, South West and the Republic of Ireland. specialist markets.
Proactively recruits new qualifying partners or distributors.
Responsible for initiating and maintaining highly satisfactory, responsive working relationships with key personnel in assigned partner accounts.
Meets assigned targets for profitable sales volume and strategic objectives in assigned partner accounts.
Coordinates the involvement of company personnel, including support, service, and management resources, in order to meet partner performance objectives and partners expectations.
Understand internal capabilities and provide time and support for other team members to be able to exceed client expectations.
Proactively leads a joint partner planning process that develops mutual performance objectives, financial targets, and critical milestones associated with a productive partner relationship.
Proactively assesses, clarifies, and validates partner needs on an ongoing basis.
Sells through partner organisations to end users in coordination with partner sales resources.
Manages potential channel conflict with other firm sales channels by fostering excellent communication internally and externally, and through strict adherence to channel rules of engagement.
Ensure CRM and other business management systems are maintained and updated frequently including forecast of responsible accounts.
Leads solution and marketing development efforts that best address enduser needs, while coordinating the involvement of all necessary company and partner personnel.
Ensures partner compliance with partner agreements. Drives adoption of company programs among assigned partners.
Products/solutions to sell include (full training given):
Voice over WiFi
Enterprise Grade Smart Devices (DECT, WiFi, GSM and LTE)
Smart phone applications for messaging and remote monitoring of critical alarms, systems and processes
Lone worker and staff protection systems
Bespoke solutions such as checkout communications for retail stores.
ATEX equipment for intrinsically safe sites
Executive level, polished presentation skills
Ability to converse and work with senior/executive management
Should possess relevant, established contacts with companies in targeted channel/partner segments
Demonstrable experience of selling to strategic partners, channel and distribution
Excellent negotiation skills and verifiable success at closing multimillion pound partner agreements
Experience of WLAN, Telecommunications and Systems Integration
Must be able to work independently and be selfmotivated.
Must be proactive and selfstarting with ability to originate actions and actively influence colleagues
Must have excellent communication skills
MS Office skills, CRM, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word etc.
A good basic salary of up to £45,000 p/a
Excellent OTE (£3060,000)
£5,640 annual car allowance (£470 per month)
Home office/remote set up
Full technical training and ongoing support
