An excellent opportunity has arisen for a site based Security Manager to join Kingdom Services Group Ltd, working at a Distribution site in Hatfield.

SIA: This is a licenced role which requires one of either DS or SG and CCTV would be advantageous

Hours: On Average 50 Hours per week, 10 hours per day, Monday - Friday, with some weekend work required. 07.00 - 17.00.

Own transport required.

Primary Focus:

To consistently deliver outstanding levels of service to each customer, stakeholder and colleague through teamwork, transparency and innovation.

Role Purpose:

To ensure that the Security Service provided conforms to the Assignment Instructions and the Client's requirements.

The Security Manager shall be responsible for:

Ensuring smooth and efficient management of the overall security operations as defined within the relationship between Kingdom and Booker Distribution. Support Client's external 'adhoc' events when required to do so. Ensuring all relevant operational information is accurately and effectively cascaded to the security team in a timely and efficient manner.

This position is pivotal to the success of the overall contract and key to this role will be the Security Manager's ability to work closely with all key in addition to his / her ability to motivate a large Security Team as a whole.

Role Requirements:

We expect the manager to motivate and lead the team to achieve excellent standards in security risk operations and customer service delivery. Continually strive to exceed existing standards and improve site efficiency to deliver the highest audit scores.

Specific Duties:

Provide leadership, direction and oversee the duties of all security officers working on site Daily liaison with various departments within the business relating to daily security matters Oversee completion of scheduling as appropriate for site requirements Stringent management of Site events and any VIP visits Maintain an up to date knowledge of company practice, policies and quality standards as they relate to site operation and employment of hourly paid staff Develop knowledge of Kingdom Operational Software and ensure all shifts are assigned appropriately. Control all site documents used by staff in the execution of their duties for compliance and audit purposes Preparation of site's SLA monthly information and statistics Maintain a healthy and safe environment through effective Management of Accident/Incident/Near Miss events, investigation, reports and training Lead the team to embrace the Client's culture and values with a strong awareness of Security & Risk Management Respond to all emergencies and co-ordinate an action plan, immediately escalating in accordance with the escalation procedure Overall responsibility for the daily monitoring of standards and welfare of officers on site.

Personal/Job Skills:

Leadership, mentoring and coaching skills are essential to perform the exacting standards of the role Excellent communication and IT skills Be experienced in supervising staff, ideally managing welfare, disciplinary and development issues Be able to manage a security contract within budgets, meeting all requirements Have experience within the security industry, specifically managing a large security team
