Media Relations Officer
£27,851 per annum
35 hours per week
Our client is the leading charity dedicated to creating a world without barriers for deaf children and young people.
Are you passionate about the power of the media to change lives? Do you have a knack for finding interesting angles on stories and a strong track record of delivering impactful media campaigns? Our client is looking for someone with a sound knowledge of PR principles and practice to help them raise awareness of childhood deafness, drive forward campaigns and motivate the public to support the organisation.
You will work with a range of diverse teams across the charity to shape media relations strategies and plan and deliver integrated media and PR projects to a wide range of print, broadcast and digital media outlets. Your excellent communication skills, together with the ability to liaise with internal and external contacts, will make you an invaluable part of the media team. This is an exciting and challenging role and will suit someone who enjoys working both independently and as part of a wider communications department.
Ideally, you will have experience working within a charity environment, but our client is open to applications from candidates with agency or other relevant experience.
