The Company

Established in 1989, our client is a leading provider of versatile venue hire services. Based in the heart of London, their friendly and adaptable team are dedicated to providing a world-class hosting experience, be it for meetings, training, seminars or conferences.

They are now looking for a Meeting & Events Co-ordinator to join them and provide a high-quality service to their corporate customer base.

The Role

As a Meeting & Events Co-ordinator, you will provide an outstanding service to customers using our client’s venue hire services.

In this key role, you’ll provide tours of the site to prospective businesses and highlight the benefits of our client’s event hosting and serviced offices.

You’ll meet and greet visitors in a professional manner, handle telephone queries, provide quotes and process bookings.

Additionally, you will:

  • Build positive relationships with customers
  • Facilitate the smooth running of events, including collecting payments, setting up rooms and making catering arrangements
  • Carry out business administration, including managing suppliers
  • Ensure any building or facilities issues are swiftly resolved

About You

To be considered as a Meeting & Events Co-ordinator, you’ll need:

  • B2B customer-facing experience, including handling B2B telephone calls
  • Strong MS Office skills
  • A highly-organised approach and the ability to manage diaries
  • Exceptional English communication skills
  • A positive and professional approach

It would be great if you had experience in any of the following, but this isn’t essential: working in a hotel, commercial lettings, front-line telephone handling or conducting business meetings.

This is a full time role, working 8:30 17:30.
