Area Sales Manager OXFORD & READING
My client is a very well known, Global hair care organisation, and they are looking to grow their field sales team.
You will be required to effectively manage the existing accounts in the area, but also grow the account base on patch. This role will be 70% new business & 30% account management until your account base has reached its full potential.
This role would suit someone with experience in the hair industry, either in sales or as an experienced hairdresser who is looking for the next step in their career. Sales training will be provided if required.
You will predominantly be selling professional products such as colours, wet line products & styling products into Salons in the area.
Other duties are as follows:
Achieve the sales target and new business objectives assigned by the Area Manager/Sales Manager.
Introduce and sell new products and promotions according to the established objectives.
Distribute advertising and promotional material using the best merchandising techniques.
Advise customers about the effective use of the Companys products.
Proactively and constantly offer and provide support for customers business development, offering them the best tools and solutions in each case.
Promote customer assistance at events and meetings.
Achieve customer loyalty by making programmed visits, fulfilling orders and quickly and efficiently resolving all incidents and claims.
Carry out various administrative and planning tasks:
Process the orders obtained on a daily basis.
Submit all required admin reports within the stipulated time frames.
Establish an effective journey plan.
Prepare for the visits in advance, focusing on the assigned objectives.
Collect unpaid invoices and deposit the funds within the established times.
Follow the procedures and rules established by the Company.
Alignment with Field Technical Educator to establish growth & development plans for salons.
Be informed and keep the Regional Sales Manager informed about competitor activities and market demands.
Maintain a standard of excellence and quality in the work carried out.
