Would you like to work for a wellestablished manufacturing company who over the next 5 years will be expanding? They currently have plans in place for a brandnew state of the art manufacturing plant and are investing heavily for the future.
Our client currently has a requirement for an Assistant Quality Assurance Manager on a regular day shift at their Brighouse site.
The main purpose of the role is to assist the Quality Manager in the day to day running of a busy Quality Department which will include monitoring and reporting on the performance of the team, setting tasks as required, leading investigations & promoting Quality throughout the company and produce / present monthly reports
Provide guidance to the team in order for them to achieve their goals. Set regular targets & objectives. Provide monthly reports to QA Manager.
Conduct systems audits in accordance with IATF 16949 to the schedule and raise nonconformances as required. All NonConformances are to be investigated to determine root cause and robust corrective action.
To assist / lead on customer audits. Chaperone Auditor / Visitors round sites and answer any questions.
To assist QA Manager on Certification / Surveillance audits and in ensuring that the organisation maintains its accreditations. To assist the QA Manager in guiding the department when applying new requirements or new standards.
To identify areas for improvement across the organisation and within the QA department. Review existing QMS with a view of streamlining existing documentation, changing to a graphical document. Review repeat issues and error proof the process where possible.
To provide appropriate training within the organisation as required
Discuss any quality issues with the relevant departments (as a result of customer complaint or WIP NCRs raised within the company etc.) Develop a regular meeting with other departments to discuss quality issues
To report on the status of internal nonconformance and drive the timely investigation and closure. Validating the corrective actions.
provide cover to any area of the Quality Department when required.
Minimum 3 years in QA (Systems)
IATF 16949 Internal Audits
Continuous Improvement Tools
Worked within TS/IATF 16949 environment
Desire to progress
