About the job
A unique opportunity to join a successful and rapidly growing investment company. As a result of the company's success, we are looking to diversify our business and we are looking for an entrepreneurial self-starter to join one of our brand new portfolio entities.
The company you will join works with Housing Associations and Care Companies specialising in providing high-quality supported living homes and care provision to vulnerable adults. Our care companies will grow substantially over the next year, and we are forming our own care worker recruitment entity to make sure the companies are staffed sufficiently.
You will be the first hire at this entity, meaning there is significant opportunity for growth and career progression. Once up and running, you can take responsibility for the expansion and development of the business.
Location: Milton Keynes, UK
Starting salary: £25,000 per year
The role responsibilities are:
Implement a successful and efficient recruitment system to supply our care companies with care workers.
Work closely with each individual care company to understand their staffing needs.
Build the trust of the care company managers.
Post job adverts online and on social media platforms.
Conduct an initial screening of candidates.
Book candidates for face to face interviews at the care companies.
Take ownership of the role - you will be working autonomously.
Suggest and implement new processes or strategies to improve the efficiency of the company and ultimately grow the firm.
The role requirements are:
Previous experience in care worker recruitment
Excellent organisational skills
Self-starter - must be able to work with autonomy
Solid business and commercial acumen
Experience in a professional or office based role
Strong problem-solving skills
Determined and driven to grow the business
Excellent communication skills with close attention to detail
Awareness of social housing issues and a desire to have a positive social impact
