My client is currently one of the leading media owners and on its way to becoming the biggest and the best in the business! With a huge variety of well known brands their reputation proceeds them. They live and breath reward and recognition with their overall turnover of staff being extremely low. When people join they just dont want to leave. They have impressive portfolios made up long standing accounts and a very captive audience. With the opportunity to work with leading industry professionals and clients, this organisation is recruiting a Sales Executive to take their next step in their career.

The Role

With this brands reach being well in to the millions this is a very exciting opportunity. The Media Sales Executive main role is to create and grow revenue with new and existing advertisers. To do this they must be organised and be able to manage an abundance of contacts with clients and agencies. The position doesnt pigeon hole you into one channel, it lets you cross sell over all over them. Giving you the chance to build your skill set and give you exposure to all sectors of the business.

Your day to day responsibilities will include a mix of new business and account management. They want you out and about being a brand ambassador while you build up your network with clients and agencies. This is very much an agency facing role where they want you out lunching, brunching and doing what it takes to bring on new business. All the while if you are creative and innovative they love this and will take anything you can bring to the table on board. With the internal facilities there to support this you can come up with the idea and use the creative teams to put the proposals together and pull stats on potential advertisers to manipulate the date to show them that numbers talk.

The Person

The successful Media Sales Executive will encompass the following skills and attributes:

At least 18 Months experience in Media Sales
Experience in either Print Sales, Digital Display, Out of Home advertising, Recruitment Advertising
Strong new business skill set
Amazing relationships building
Strong communication skills & an excellent telephone manner
High motivation levels and drive to exceed targets
A tenacious and resilient
Creative and innovative
