About the job
How will you add value on a day-to-day basis? You will be supporting a busy Talent Acquisition (TA) team of around 15 recruiters in a very varied role and help the team to achieve Worldpay’s hiring targets. We hire thousands of people each year into a wide variety of roles all over the world, including IT, sales, marketing, finance, legal. This team has a significant impact on the business and we need someone like you to help this to happen. Your role will include assisting the team with booking interviews and meeting rooms. You’ll be responsible for managing our applicant tracking database and other software tools and websites, including running regular and ad-hoc reports. We hold regular networking events and social media campaigns to promote the business and you will play a key role in making this happen. You’ll also support the Group Head of TA with some ‘PA’ type activities such as diary management, travel booking and expense support. From time to time you’ll provide support for some strategic projects and programmes of work that will potentially bring you into contact with other senior execs within the business. Other tasks include dealing with email and telephone queries on behalf of the team from candidates and line managers, dealing with external suppliers such as recruitment agencies to ensure invoices are paid on time and a myriad of ad hoc requests that will keep you on your toes What will make you the ideal candidate? You will have come from an administrative background, possibly within a Recruitment or Talent Acquisition setting. You’ll be very confident using MS Office tools, notably Excel and PowerPoint. Any previous experience of working with databases, reporting, events management or social media would be of benefit but are not essential. We are looking for a positive and proactive person who is self-motivated and well organised. You will be an excellent team player, problem solver and communicator including dealings at the most senior levels when required. You are comfortable working independently and happy to be seen as the solution provider. You will be able to think strategically whilst delivering impeccable service from an operational perspective. You are detail conscious ensuring reliability at all times and you are committed to producing high quality work in a professional team environment.
