Job Title: Business Development Executive Falanx Cyber
Reports to: Sales Director
Location: Remote with frequent travelto client and Falanx sites in the UK
Salary: £30,000 - £45,000 per annum with excellent earning potential + excellent benefits

We have an exciting opportunity for a Business Development Executive to join our Sales team to help to contribute to the planned substantial growth of our Cyber business. In this role, youll be helping to grow a company, whose products are used in corporate and government sectors globally. You will play an instrumental part in the success of the business, researching the market and introducing our solutions to a target market or territory that you will own. To excel in this challenging role you will need to be both confident and highly ambitious, as youll be expected to pitch to new prospects and convert these into existing clients for the business.
As a Business Development Executiveyou will work closely with other departments and the senior management teamwithin Falanx, to further develop the sales strategy and help drive forward thegrowth of the organisation.
Your main responsibilitieswill include:Defining your targetmarkets and go to market strategy alongside the sales directorConstructing your business plan with support from sales and marketingArranging andattending meetings with target market clientsIdentifying anddeveloping relationships with all relevant contacts within prospective clients,uncovering their Cyber requirements, articulating how Falanx can address these,understand the buying process and manage the opportunity to a successfuloutcome through the sales cycle.Building a strong pipelineof recurring profitable business that ensures the delivery of targetsAchieving an individual sales target quarterly and annuallyComplete strong compelling written proposals that clearly define how Falanx address needs and add demonstrable value.Presenting proposals to the decision making unit Where required managingcustomers beyond the initial sale through strategic account planningDevelop incrementalrevenue through driving a strong network of influencers and end user contactsin the sectorAttend and supportindustry tradeshows enhancing your knowledge and enhancing our Cyber brandEnsure that allopportunities, contact information and relevant information is captured withinthe CRM system Establish and processnew sales leads Prepare well written formal proposals and RFPsPresent Falanxpropositions at all levels of the client decision making unitConverse and buildrelationships across all necessary departments and levels within clients

Essential RequirementsProven track record ofachievement/over achievement within a business development role in ideally the technology sector over 2 years.Experience in settingand delivering a successful new business strategy (vertical market, territoryor channel focussed). Clear speakingStrong history ofprospecting and generating demand in target markets Some knowledge of Technologiesand their relevance to UK businessesProactive, positiveattitude and willingness to persevere to achieve goals Ability to travelextensively within the region and when required UK wide Skills
Professionally presented Stong Commercial accumen Goal driven, ambitious, self- starter Outstanding communication, written and presentation skills with experience of delivery to wide and varied roles in clients. Ability to adapt to change in a fast-paced environment Good listening skills with an ability to capture information from a customer during discussions Strong organizational skills including prioritising, scheduling, time management, and meeting deadlines Excellent negotiation skills Ability to problem solve and use initiative Experience in one or more professional sales training methodologies Full clean driving Licence IT literate including MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, CRM skills Great team player
