With this mediumsized private healthcare provider, you will initially receive a thorough 7day induction, after which the possibilities are endless! 90% of the current senior team were promoted internally.

This Unit Manager post is based in Sheffield, within a service that provides care to residents with neurodisabilities, brain injuries, and enduring mental health and learning disabilities. With 82 beds across 4 units, each nursing unit is staffed with one nurse and nine carers, in addition to Nursing Management support.

Assist with the training of new care assistants and nurses

Supervise your designated unit, ensuring the shift runs smoothly

Administer medication to residents within the required time scales

Change dressings/ assist care assistants

Complete daily observations/notes

Use the units system to record data and manage appointments for residents

Promote independence and dignity throughout everyday life

Assess care needs and developing personalised care plans

Communicate with an MDT, service users and families as appropriate


NMC registration, either RGN, RMN or RNLD

A flexible attitude

The ability to develop strong relationships
