Assistant Merchandiser - Outlet
We are looking for a confident and experienced Assistant Merchandiser to join the Outlet Merchandising team based at our Central London Head Office. You will join us on a full time, permanent basis and in return receive a competitive salary and excellent benefits! The Role As our Assistant Merchandiser, you will support the Merchandiser with planning and trading of the outlet department to maximise profit and minimize markdowns. Responsibilities of our Assistant Merchandiser will include: Produce weekly trading reports to summarise, analyse and identify key drivers with the view to propose any necessary trading actionManage monthly order placement and intake plans with suppliers to maintain planned stock levels- identifying lines for promotion, repeats and risk assessmentsReview and reforecast continuity lines on a regular basisManage intake into the warehouse in conjunction with the buying team, warehouse and suppliersHighlight delivery discrepancies and propose necessary actions to takeWork closely with the Merchandising Admin Assistant to manage intake, allocation of stock and other admin tasksResponsible for trading key category areasProduce colour, price, sizing and ad hoc analysis on rangesMonitor and review outlet performance to potentialize profitWork closely alongside the rest of the Merchandising department as well the Buying and Design teams Our Assistant Merchandiser will have the following skills and experience: Previous experience in Head Office Merchandising at either Assistant Merchandiser or Senior MAA levelStrong analytical and numerical skills Commerciality awarenessConfident verbal and written communications skillsPassion to develop a long-term career within Merchandising If you think you have the skills and experience required to start your story as our Assistant Merchandiser, don’t miss out - apply now!
