Job Title: PIP Delivery Manager
Role Description: Managing clinical and operational demands of the PIP contract in addition to maintaining a role as a PIP Assessor
Base Location: Yorkshire (Hull, Scarborough & York)
Starting Salary: £36,000 per annum + bonuses + benefits
Hours: Full-time
Travel expenses: Business expenses covered whilst completing managerial responsibilities.

Role Overview:

  • Manage the clinical and operational quality within a designated area of Yorkshire
  • Manage between 7-15 health professionals based in an Assessment Centre environment
  • Ensure professional standards are maintained in all work undertaken by the health professionals that you work with through training, practice and supervision/audit.
  • You will also train and provide mentorship to newly recruited clinicians joining the organisation
  • Working closely with the Regional Manager and National Managers to ensure the KPI's are achieved within region to meet the demands of the contract
  • Ensure smooth day to day running of the designated area whilst working alongside a larger management structure
  • Remain clinical as a PIP Assessor and complete comprehensive functional medical assessments and detailed reports in an Assessment Centre environment

  • You must be a qualified Nurse, Physiotherapist, Occupational Therapist, Paramedic or Doctor.
  • Minimum 2 years of post-registration experience within a clinical setting
  • Full registration with the relevant professional body (NMC/HCPC/GMC)
  • Experience as an accredited Disability Assessor (DA) within the PIP health assessment sector. (Desirable)
  • The ability to lead, manage and motivate a team
  • Excellent clinical, communication and interpersonal skills
  • A positive, empathetic and professional manner
  • Strong computer and IT skills
  • Be able to demonstrate the ability to work autonomously
  • Ability to work under pressure, and be flexible and adaptable in your approach
  • Skills in report writing is beneficial
