Due to continued business growth and expansion across the charity, my client is recruiting for an interim Finance Systems Assistant to join their team on a part time basis for an initial period of three month. The working hours will be 21 per week ideally over three days.
Reporting to the Finance Systems Manager, you will assist in the development of the system to help ensure the charity get the most value from its investment. The role will sit within Finance and you will work directly with departments and subsidiaries across the charity.
As the interim Finance Systems Assistant, you will be responsible for the following tasks:
Managing first line tickets logged by users
Respond to users queries about workflow, requisitioning, goods receipting
Managing failed receipts Reviewing and managing batch input maintenance
Checking HR imports Creating new accounts, account rules, cost centres and other attributes as required
*Assisting with testing of new developments and enhancements
The ideal applicant would be a partqualified accountant, preferably with proven experience in the charity sector, or the ability to quickly adapt to and learn the relevant technical regulations and mechanics around charity reporting. You must be able to work to a high degree of accuracy. You will have great problem solving skills, a proven ability to identify improvements to processes at work, and proficiency in Excel. It is imperative that you have strong knowledge of Agresso (Unit4 Business World).
